Who we serve
Numeracy is the literacy nobody screens for.
Reading gets tested, tutored, and funded. The ability to handle a number (an interest rate, a dosage, a paycheck, a ballot measure) is assumed. Numeraldo treats it as a skill that can be taught at any age, and builds programs that do exactly that.

The numerical counterpart of literacy: the ability to use, interpret, and express quantitative ideas to understand and manage the demands of everyday situations, public life, and professional contexts.
Academic preparation and analytical thinking
Weekly small-group instruction that rebuilds arithmetic fluency, then pushes into the estimation, proportion, and data reasoning that standardized tests and adult life both demand.
Economic empowerment and upward mobility
Calculators, curriculum, and instruction delivered where cost is the barrier, so a missing $130 device never decides who takes the advanced class.

The Casio Calculator Access Initiative
Numeraldo has partnered with Casio to close the calculator gap. Casio supplies scientific and graphing calculators at no cost to the student; Numeraldo handles distribution and (the part that usually gets skipped) teaches students how to actually use the machine.

Numeracy Club at the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County
Numeraldo teaches at the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County every week during the school year. Sessions are small-group and hands-on, with students doing math out loud until the number sense sticks instead of filling in worksheets.

The Financial Literacy Crash Course
Two self-paced courses, one written for teenagers and one for seniors, covering the money decisions each group actually faces. Every module shows the arithmetic underneath the rule, so a reader can check the number and argue with it.

Founder
Rohan founded Numeraldo on a simple observation: the people who struggle most with numbers are rarely the people offered help with them. He leads the organization's programs, teaches the weekly sessions at the Boys & Girls Club, and built the Casio partnership.
